Ready For Independence

Change can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you’re moving out of home for the first time, starting a new job, transitioning into Supported Independent Living (SIL), beginning high school, or adjusting to a new city -change is a big step. At Find Support Care, we help NDIS Participants feel confident, supported, and prepared to embrace these important milestones in life.

With the right supports and mentoring, you don’t have to face change alone. Together, we explore your goals, find the right supports, plan the steps ahead, and build the practical skills and emotional resilience needed to thrive.

How We Support You Through Change

Depending on what’s included in your NDIS Plan, we can help you be ready for change and independence:

coaching helps you find balance in life

Our business process

Our business coaching process is designed to provide structured, yet flexible, support tailored to your specific goals. We begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your business’s current challenges.

Why This Matters

Change is more than just the practical side of moving house or starting work – it’s about adjusting emotionally, developing new skills, and stepping into a bigger sense of independence. The NDIS provides funding for capacity-building supports that make these transitions possible. My coaching/mentoring approach blends professional support with encouragement, structure, and strategies tailored to you – so you can step forward with resillience and confidence.

  • Finding and Keeping a Job – for employment readiness and support.

  • Improved Daily Living – for building independence, skills, and resilience.

  • Increased Social and Community Participation – for connecting with new opportunities and managing life transitions.

If you’re not sure which category applies to your situation, we can help you explore your NDIS Plan and identify where this support may fit. Together, we can make sure you’re ready to embrace the changes ahead.

Frequently asked questions

How does the coaching take place?

We meet over a zoom call or if you prefer a phone call instead, that too is fine. Some people find they are shy in the beginning, so a phone call is best. As their confidence grows and they are happy to speak face to face, we then can move onto a zoom call. Others just find that the phone or zoom is much more convenient for them, we are happy to meet you either way!

Is coaching like therapy or counselling?

Coaching is a collaborative process between the coach and the client, with the aim of helping the client maximise their potential and lead a more fulfilling life. It’s important to note that coaching is not a substitute for therapy or counselling, and individuals with serious mental health issues may be referred to a mental health professional for appropriate treatment.
